Supplied with Standard 6 Pulse LSIS VFD with DC Choke and Mirus Passive Filter. The AS7CP & AS100 VFD’s use a proven 6 pulse diode front end platform which contains a DC choke combined with a Passive Filter to
meet IEEE519 2022 requirements. Our AS Series “Clean Power” variable
frequency drives are offered in two distinct packages for variable and
constant torque applications to provide maximum versatility and efficiency
for your driven load..

Advantages

The AS7CP & AS100CP series of drives are designed to deliver clean power process control for applications and systems requiring near zero harmonic distortion regardless of the drives location. These packaged systems meet IEEE519 2022. Our clean power drives can handle 12% or greater background Vthd and 3% source voltage imbalance while providing IEEE519 performance. This provides maximum versatility for all utility systems including remote locations where 18 pulse and AFE VFD’s have failed to deliver IEEE519 performance.

The AS7CP & AS100CP utilizes a purely passive device consisting of a unique inductor combined with a relatively small capacitor bank. Its innovative design achieves reduction of all the major harmonic currents generated by VFD’s and other similar 3-phase, 6-pulse rectifier loads. Guaranteed to meet IEEE Std 519 for both current and voltage distortion at the input terminals of the drive.

Also offered with these packages are Long Lead and Universal Sine Wave Filters for the VFD output. Full and accurate modeling of system compatibility & harmonic performance can be provided by Five Star Electric.
